Corrections policy

Useful work includes a visible way to be wrong.

Technology changes and testing can miss things. We treat specific, evidence-backed correction reports as part of the editorial process, not as an inconvenience to hide.

01

Report a problem

Email editorial@infoocode.com with the article URL, the statement or step at issue, what you observed, and any version or environment details that could help reproduce it. Please do not send passwords, API keys, private datasets, or other secrets.

02

What happens next

An editor records and triages the report, then assigns a qualified person to reproduce or source-check it.

  • Material errors are corrected promptly and carry a dated note
  • Small spelling or formatting fixes may be made without a formal note
  • Disputed claims are checked against retained evidence and current primary sources
  • Unsafe guidance may be unpublished while the investigation is open

03

Updates and retirement

A meaningful update changes the visible modified date and explains what changed. Work that can no longer be maintained safely or accurately is consolidated, retired, or removed rather than left to decay.
